Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development- IUST has signed an MoU with MEGA AI Lab (MAILAB) to promote knowledge sharing in the areas of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Food processing, Agri business, manufacturing technologies, automobiles , IT, ITES etc. The MoU envisions cooperation in diverse aspects including setting up of TBIC at IUST, student and faculty exchange programmes, Industrial training and Apprenticeship opportunities to IUST students, etc.

Now we feel the moral responsibility or obligation of the “remnants” who have witnessed the outbreak of the Itaewon Disaster; as globally-well recognized experts of crowd safety, all the participants in the workshop share such feelings and try together to make contribution to the prevention of another Itaewon disaster.

지난 27일 미국 워싱턴 현지 시간 오후 12시 메일랩 양동하CCO와 심영택 CIO 가 미국변호사협회 (American Bar Association)이 주최한 Cloud/Privacy/AI: Trends and Legal Implications 컨퍼런스에서 “AI for Cybersecurity”를 주제로 기조발표를 했습니다. 10월은 사이버 보안 인식의 달이므로 이 컨퍼런스는 클라우드, 개인 정보 보호 및 AI가 사이버 보안 문제와 교차하는 지점에 대해 설명했습니다.

미국과 중국 사이 G2 대립의 핵심은 인공지능 패권이다. 냉전시대가 군사력 대결이었다면 세계화와 함께 형성된 미중 G2 시대는 무역전쟁에서 시작하여 기술 경쟁으로 바뀌고 있다. 그 중심에는 인공지능, AI가 있다. 물론 군사적 대립이나 무역 갈등은 계속되지만 그 위에 기술경쟁 그리고 중심에 인공지능이 자리잡은 셈이다. 이 같은 미중 분쟁 사이에 '낀' 대한민국이 살아가는 법은 우선 AI G3의 위상을 확보한 후 남북통일을 성사시키는 것이다.
